Our Photo & Film Scanning Services
Our professional scanning equipment enables us to create high quality JPEG scans of your Photos; 35mm, 110 & 126 Slides; and 35mm, 120 & 126 Negatives. Your photos will be scanned to a convenient 600 dpi and your slides and negatives to 2,400 dpi, ideal for viewing on computer screens, printing 6"x4"s and are ample for printing up to A4 size. We can scan selected slides and negatives to higher resolution files for printing to larger sizes or for creating slideshows.
As part of our standard scanning service for your slides and negatives, we will correct contrast, brightness and exposure, grain levels and fading and undertake basic colour adjustments. If your images require advanced work (e.g. fixing colour casts), we can undertake this separately for an additional cost per image.
We will upload your scanned images to our Cloud server for you to download the files to your computer. In addition, we can transfer your files to a USB*.
Turn around time for our scanning service is usually between one and four weeks, but if it's urgent just let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Our office is located in Wellington CBD. You can either drop off your items to us or courier them to us (Signature Required only).
*Please note, to minimise the risk of viruses we are only able to accept brand new or if used, formatted USBs with no files on them. We can also supply USBs (see PRICING page for details). We don't offer printing services however we can transfer your files to a USB that you can take directly to a printers.
IMPORTANT: Under copyright law we are unable to scan photographic media marked with copyright unless unless you or your organisation owns the copyright. Please ensure that you own the copyright of any media you provide us with or that you have obtained the required permission of the copyright holder. We may ask to see written permission from the copyright holder.

PLEASE NOTE: We have a minimum $80.00 order value for all services.
NOTE 1: Photo scanning prices stated are for scanning loose photos and photos that are up to 12"x8" (A4 sheet size). Contact us for a quote for scanning photos that are adhered to album pages or if you have larger images to be scanned. We are unable to accept photos in albums.
NOTE 2: We can accept a maximum of 2,500 Photos and 1,500 Slides or Negatives per order.
