Tears & Creases
Tears, scratches and creases on old photos often occur when the pictures haven't been stored in an album or frame. With our expertise, we can repair your pictures and get them looking like new again.
In the example above, we've repaired the tear in the corner and removed the creases. We've also adjusted the contrast in the picture and added a border. Colour Enhancement
Faded, sun-damaged and under or over-exposed photographs used to be something you just had to live with. Using our professional software, we can colour and light correct your photos to bring them back to life.
In the example above, we corrected the colour of both the sky and the grass, and removed the orange hue in the subjects' faces, arms and legs. |
Stains & Mould
Stains and mould on photos that have been stored in damp places can ruin the look of your pictures. We can clean up your images to make them blemish-free again.
In the example above, we removed the mould and the large coffee stain, then recreated the section of the wall that was behind the stain. In this case we changed the sepia style in the photograph to pure black and white and added more contrast. Object Removal/Insertion
Unwanted objects or people in photos can ruin your perfect shot. We can remove your "photo-bomber", unwanted powerlines or other objects to give you the shot you intended.
In the example above we removed the person from the image as well as their shadow and reflection on the water. We then recreated the section of water without the reflection, and filled in the missing sections of the road and mountain after the removal of the person. |
Our Photo Restoration Services
Photo repair and restoration involves working from an original print or digital image. Our advanced restoration techniques allow us to return nearly any photo to its original condition, especially those damaged by light, mould, water, or photos with general wear and tear. We can fill in missing pieces, smooth out creases, and put ripped photos back together again.
If you would like improvements or special effects, our powerful software enables us to add or remove elements, retouch portraits or even merge elements from other photos.
Turn around time for our restoration service is dependant on the level of work required to restore your image and who's ahead of you in the queue. An indication of how long it will take will be given once we have seen your image, but is not likely to exceed 3 weeks. We will upload your completed restorations to our Cloud server so that you can easily download them and have them printed.
We price our restoration work on a three tier level (as below) depending on the amount of work required. We will always give a free quotation on each job before we start work, and you will only be charged what we quote for the job.
